Conclusion
After the German invasion of the Netherlands, the Dutch witnessed a gradual deterioration of Jewish rights, and eventually, the mass deportion of the Jewish population. Riots were quickly extinguished, fear prevailed and people were left with the choice--save my life or risk it for the sake of a complete stranger? The Dutch Resistance, an underground movement of people from all different walks of life felt it was their Responsibility, no matter the consequences, to stand up against evil fight against injustice and protect the most basic of all rights--the right to human life.
